About the Role

The Google Digital Marketing apprenticeship is a Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program and a structured learning and development opportunity. During the 18 month program, apprentices will participate in on-the-job training, related technical instruction, and career development workshops to develop professional and durable skills. Upon completion, apprentices receive a nationally-recognized credential, certified by the U.S. Department of Labor. As a Digital Marketing apprentice at Google, you will develop the skills you need to pursue an entry-level career in digital marketing. You will help define, design, and execute digital marketing campaigns across channels for brands across the world. You will develop the skills to create strategy, content, and optimization, using AI tools where applicable to enhance creativity and efficiency. You will analyze market/campaign data, track key metrics, and present findings to drive objectives. You will engage clients, and gain exposure to consumer and business Google products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support digital strategy design and implementation, including go-to-market and multi-channel campaigns.
  • Optimize campaigns and digital assets for SEO, leveraging AI-powered tools when applicable.
  • Manage Search, Video, and Programmatic campaigns, track key metrics, and present comprehensive findings to clients and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • High school degree, GED equivalent, or practical experience.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant digital marketing experience.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team framework.
  • Experience using Google Workspace or a similar suite of productivity tools.
  • Ability to navigate multiple ambiguous tasks and competing priorities while finding suitable solutions and seeking help/advice where appropriate.
  • Ability to be proactive and have a positive attitude.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and commitment to learning new skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills, customer service capabilities, and critical thinking abilities.
