About the Role

The Digital Marketing Consultant (Sales) role is based in Orange County and involves working remotely from a home office while making both tech-based and in-person sales calls with local business owners. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to provide a diverse set of advertising and marketing solutions, including website development, SEO, local listings, and reputation management on social media platforms.
  • Generate awareness and leads through methods such as search engine marketing, social media engagement, display advertising, video content, and mobile advertising.
  • Grow the audience and promote engagement through brand content solutions and social media marketing.
  • Manage leads and customers efficiently using lead alert systems, engagement tools, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of campaigns using reporting tools, mobile applications, and insights from emerging technologies like Virtual and Augmented Reality.
  • Identify customer needs to develop and implement tailored account plans and client solutions.
  • Assist businesses in optimizing their online presence through personalized digital and print marketing strategies.
  • Identify and develop sales strategies across multiple platforms, including digital media, mobile, niche publications, promotions, and traditional newspapers.
  • Actively pursue and secure new business and revenue streams.
  • Retain, manage, and expand the client base in the digital landscape.
  • Collaborate within a team to manage client relationships and increase account revenue.
  • Present the product suite effectively to business decision-makers.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers via phone, video conferencing, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Conduct face-to-face customer meetings, presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.
  • Manage a sales pipeline and devise strategies for long-term success.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins, upsell/cross-sell accounts, and address client concerns.
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) effectively, recording all sales activities accurately.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Digital Marketing; Google AdWords and Analytics certifications are preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in high acquisition, consultative B2B sales roles.
  • A problem solver who can simplify complex issues and thrives on challenges.
  • Possesses a competitive nature and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and minimum liability insurance as required by law.
