About the Role

The Digital Marketing Consultant (Sales) role is based in Orange County and involves working remotely from a home office while making both tech-based and in-person sales calls with local business owners. The position requires a personable, intelligent individual capable of leading sales efforts focused on digital platforms, collaborating with clients to provide advertising and marketing solutions, and fostering partnerships with local businesses to achieve their marketing goals through integrated media strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishing and enhancing clients' online presence through website development, SEO, local listings, and reputation management on social media platforms.
  • Generating awareness and leads via search engine marketing, social media engagement, display advertising, video content, and mobile advertising.
  • Growing the audience and promoting engagement through brand content solutions and social media marketing.
  • Managing leads and customers efficiently using lead alert systems, engagement tools, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Analyzing campaign effectiveness using reporting tools, mobile applications, and insights from emerging technologies like Virtual and Augmented Reality.
  • Utilizing the best marketing services and solutions to deliver results for customers.
  • Developing and implementing tailored account plans and client solutions to differentiate services.
  • Optimizing clients' online presence through personalized digital and print marketing strategies.
  • Identifying market potential, developing, and executing sales strategies across multiple platforms including digital media, mobile, publications, and traditional newspapers.
  • Actively pursuing and securing new business and revenue streams.
  • Retaining, managing, and expanding the client base in the digital landscape.
  • Managing client relationships within a team to sustain and increase account revenue.
  • Presenting product offerings effectively to business decision-makers.
  • Maintaining proactive communication with customers via phone, video conferencing, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Conducting face-to-face customer meetings, presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.
  • Managing a sales pipeline and devising strategies for long-term success.
  • Conducting regular client check-ins, upselling/cross-selling accounts, and addressing client concerns.
  • Utilizing CRM (Salesforce) effectively and recording all sales activities accurately.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Digital Marketing (Google AdWords, Analytics certifications preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of experience in high acquisition, consultative B2B Sales roles.
  • A problem solver who thrives on challenges and can simplify complex issues.
  • Possesses a competitive nature and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and minimum liability insurance as required by law.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications in Google AdWords and Analytics.

Qualifications

  • Experience in high acquisition, consultative B2B sales roles for 5+ years
