About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager, Brand & Regional, sits on the Brand Media and Organic Social Media team within the Brand and Community Marketing organization at TD. The role involves developing and executing enterprise brand media plans and awareness strategies, primarily focusing on local and regional initiatives. The individual acts as a subject matter expert, working closely with internal teams and media agency partners to align strategies with TD's brand guidelines and business objectives. The position requires managing complex projects in digital, social, and content marketing, and supporting capability development within the marketing space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Center of Excellence (COE) and subject matter expert in digital and social media marketing, providing guidance and strategic direction.
  • Develop, plan, and execute brand media strategies and tactical plans to meet marketing and business objectives.
  • Monitor and optimize media campaigns across platforms, ensuring proper pacing and media buying.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external media agencies to develop media plans, measurement strategies, and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Manage complex and high-risk projects, providing internal and external consulting and advisory services.
  • Lead cross-functional teams or projects with significant resource requirements and risk, managing end-to-end programs.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and implement metrics, rules, and processes for marketing measurement and automation.
  • Support the development of long-term measurement plans for attribution and campaign effectiveness.
  • Act as a digital marketing champion, supporting capability development and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications or designations.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in digital, social, and content marketing.
  • Proficient knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, and industry trends.
  • Experience managing budgets and leading program or project activities.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and digital marketing platforms such as Meta (Facebook Business Manager) and Google Ads Manager.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex concepts and influence stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Awareness of media strategy, planning, buying, and execution.
  • Experience with media sponsorship negotiations and evaluations.
  • Agency management experience or working closely with media agencies.
  • Proficiency in campaign setup and maintenance in social media and search platforms.
  • Understanding of martech space and in-platform measurement strategies.
  • Experience developing and executing long-term measurement and attribution plans.

Qualifications

  • Educational background including an undergraduate degree or relevant certifications.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in digital marketing and related fields.
