Digital Marketing Manager - DIY Lighting & Smart Home

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Execute updates to GELighting.com ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and on brand.
• Build and maintain process and operational rigor for managing and growing the direct to consumer (D2C) website - shop.gelighting.com.
• Manage shop.gelighting.com agency partner.
• Analyze influencer marketing opportunities, negotiate terms, and execute deliverables.
• Manage HubSpot CRM and develop digital promotions to drive traffic to the D2C site.
• Partner with internal creative team to develop engaging, on-brand content including graphics, promotional emails, and web content.
• Ensure brand, messaging, voice, and visuals are consistent across all digital platforms.
• Leverage analytical skills to gather business and user insights and measure marketing impact.
• Lead social media content planning, writing, scheduling, and management for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Monitor daily social media activity, engage with audiences, and build community.
• Manage social media agency partner and collaborate with creators for engaging content.
• Track and report on performance metrics, audience insights, and competitor analysis.
• Keep the GE brand relevant and engaging across key audience segments.
• Repurpose long-form content into social-friendly formats.
• Lead ratings and reviews process through sampling and BazaarVoice reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience managing social media for a brand, preferably in consumer electronics, tech, or home lifestyle.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, etc.).
• Ability to connect business needs, timely messages, and social trends.
• Understanding of digital content best practices.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and on budget.
• Highly organized, creative thinker with strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Passion for innovation, smart home technology, and consumer electronics is a plus.
