About the Role

Legrand has an opportunity for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Digital Marketing Operations team in West Hartford, CT. We are looking for a results-oriented Digital Marketer who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of web, email, and marketing automation activities across multiple Legrand business units, as well as special digital projects and technical troubleshooting/problem-solving. This individual will measure and report the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement, and work cross-functionally with multiple teams, businesses, and roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with various marketing teams across Legrand North America's business units, managing digital needs of multiple projects and campaigns.
  • Manage and update Legrand web properties and channels to ensure a best-in-class user experience.
  • Align digital strategies with business goals by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify areas for optimization across digital platforms and recommend strategies that add value.
  • Analyze user behavior and performance data to enhance website user experience and drive engagement and conversions.
  • Brainstorm and develop new digital growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and creative agencies to develop and execute digital product launches, email, and web marketing campaigns in line with brand standards.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the use of the Master Data Management (MDM) tool to ensure accurate product information and support troubleshooting and testing efforts.
  • Manage reporting tools, analyze data, and develop insights.
  • Encourage a test-and-learn environment through experimentation and rapid iteration.
  • Implement and optimize personalized, targeted marketing campaigns via email and automation platforms.
  • Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across channels and touchpoints using strong analytical skills.
  • Measure and optimize campaign performance to deliver relevant content at appropriate times during the buying cycle.
  • Explain digital outcomes to non-digital stakeholders as a digital subject matter expert.
  • Support strategic initiatives and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Act as a team player with leadership qualities, serving as a strategy lead and digital SME on various projects.
  • Conduct user tests, surveys, and interviews to gather feedback and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Travel less than 10%.
  • Work out of the West Hartford office two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) and remotely three days (Monday, Thursday, Friday).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Technology.
  • 2-5 years of experience in digital marketing, technology, or related functions.
  • Experience working within content management systems such as SAP Hybris, Drupal, WordPress, Wix, or Sitecore.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Email Marketing Automation Tools like Pardot/Account Engagement, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or Hubspot.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics/GA4 and website conversion metrics (CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL), with ability to analyze data and present insights.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess digital initiatives and communicate effectiveness.
  • Self-starter with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take initiative, contribute ideas, and drive strategic discussions.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective cross-functional partnership and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of agile marketing principles, project management frameworks, and sprint methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital writing such as email copy, subject lines, or web content.
  • Hands-on experience with digital media disciplines/tools like website management, social media marketing, SEO, user-generated content, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Pardot/Account Engagement for campaign tracking, lead management, and reporting.
  • Experience managing website visibility and data fields within an MDM tool for accurate digital product content.
  • Passion for digital media and being an early adopter of digital trends.
  • Empathy for customer experience and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Excellent time and project management skills with ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Certification or experience with Agile marketing frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools like Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Ability to create insightful reports and visualizations tailored to different audiences.
