Digital Marketing Specialist - SEO & SEM

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor traffic performance using analytics tools like Google Analytics, PowerBI, Clarity, and SEMrush and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for site improvement.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings and user experience.
• Develop strategies to audit and build high-quality backlinks to improve the website's authority and credibility.
• Identify relevant keywords for SEO and SEM campaigns based on business objectives and target audience.
• Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality, SEO-friendly content that aligns with keyword and audience targeting.
• Ensure website structure and coding adhere to best practices for search engine crawlability and indexing.
• Work with SEM media partners on media campaigns that drive targeted traffic and achieve campaign goals.
• Keep abreast of the latest accessibility trends, guidelines, and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO and SEM to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEO and SEM.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in using SEO and SEM tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for technical SEO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power BI, Clarity, and other analytics tools.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
• Experience managing paid media campaigns and working with external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• 2 years of experience in digital marketing, focusing on SEO and SEM
