About the Role

Disruptive Digital is a boutique agency based in New York that specializes in serving online businesses in hyper growth mode, as well as more traditional businesses which have the desire to build out their direct to consumer/online sales offering. Founded by a former long-time Facebook employee, they've taken the many learnings gained from partnering with the leading eCommerce businesses in the US and applied these to their agency clients to accelerate success with Facebook, Instagram and other paid social channels. We're looking for a creative and analytical full-time Digital Media Strategist & Buyer who has experience with Paid Social and Search and a passion for performance marketing to join our team in NYC. You will maintain day-to-day client communications with disruptor brands, create & manage ads using ad buying platforms like Meta and Google, and collaborate with our team to formulate strategic action plans for each client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage paid social media and search ad budgets, making adjustments to ensure KPIs are hitting goals.
  • Create and traffic ads daily using Meta and Google's ad buying interface, with a strong attention to detail & ensuring client ads are without error.
  • Perform weekly/bi-weekly check-in calls with clients, reporting on specific initiatives or overall account performance.
  • Build recurring and ad hoc client reports and internal account analyses that are both performance & creative development-driven.
  • Brainstorm ad content with our creative strategy and editing team, drawing on client needs and input where possible.
  • Strategize, execute, and manage a variety of client Meta ad campaigns from data recommendations to execution to analysis.
  • Translate technical concepts into actionable, tactical and strategic action plans.
  • Familiarize yourself with client products & come up with promotional strategies.
  • Continuously measure and optimize campaign performance while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests.
  • Gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent media buying/advertising analyst experience.
  • Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager (Blueprint certified preferred a plus).
  • Knowledge of Google Ads Manager (Blueprint certified preferred a plus).
  • Experience in Performance marketing, media buying, lead generation, or other quantitative/data-driven fields.
  • Experience leading client account relationships.
  • Proven ability to maintain strong internal, external, and client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • Strong, professional verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical track record.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work well individually and in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of performance marketing and KPIs vital to e-commerce such as ROAS, CAC/CPA, Conversion Rate, AOV, etc. (preferred).
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and social media (preferred).
  • Experience working with Excel/Google sheets for reporting metrics, including constructing pivot tables (preferred).
  • Experience working on Marketing Decks (preferred).
  • Capable of navigating Google Analytics, Shopify, or other platforms (preferred).
  • Experience managing monthly media budgets of $50,000 or higher (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role in New York City, with a willingness to come to the office 3 days per week.
  • Experience with Google Ad Buying: 1 year (Required).
  • Experience with Facebook Media Buying: 3 years (Required).
  • Language: English (Required).

Nice to Have

  • Blueprint certification in Meta Ads Manager.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Shopify, or other platforms.
  • Experience managing media budgets of $50,000 or higher.
