About the Role

The Digital Media Strategist at Shaker works closely with the sales team to discuss client goals, identify opportunities, recommend media solutions, execute campaigns, manage budgets, and analyze performance. This role involves proposing, planning, launching, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns to meet and surpass success metrics. The position requires understanding search engine functions, bid strategies, and campaign optimization to deliver peak results across brand awareness, intent, and ROI. Shaker is a full-service agency specializing in customized communications and strategies for attracting and retaining talent, with a history dating back to 1951.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discuss client goals with the sales team and identify opportunities for media campaigns.
  • Recommend media solutions and execute campaigns accordingly.
  • Manage monthly budgets for digital campaigns.
  • Develop and oversee all aspects of search campaigns from planning to implementation, optimization, and reporting.
  • Propose, plan, launch, optimize, and report on campaigns to meet success metrics.
  • Understand and utilize search engine functions, bid strategies, and keyword performance for optimization.
  • Build UTM and pixel-based tracking for campaigns.
  • Work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Experience managing large and small SEM & paid social campaigns.
  • Experience working with PPC ad platforms such as Google, Bing, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Display, YouTube, and others.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Strong quantitative and creative-thinking skills.
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Highly organized and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Experience managing campaigns on Google Ads and Facebook/Instagram and LinkedIn Ads for 2+ years.
  • Experience in Campaign Management for 2+ years.
  • Experience with Google Analytics setup and reporting (1+ year preferred).
  • Track record of successful ad campaigns.
  • Experience with Asana or similar task management systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.

  • Agency background strongly preferred.
