About the Role

The Digital Media Strategist at Shaker Recruitment Marketing works closely with the sales team to discuss client goals, identify opportunities, recommend media solutions, execute campaigns, manage budgets, and analyze performance. Shaker is a full-service agency specializing in customized communications and strategies for attracting and retaining the right talent, with a history dating back to 1951. The role involves developing and optimizing media campaigns across various platforms to deliver measurable results such as brand awareness, intent, conversions, and ROI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discuss client goals with the sales team and identify media opportunities.
  • Recommend media solutions and execute campaigns to meet client objectives.
  • Manage campaign budgets and optimize performance based on analytics.
  • Propose, plan, launch, optimize, and report on digital media campaigns.
  • Develop complex media plans aligned with approved strategies.
  • Oversee all aspects of search campaigns from planning to performance reporting.
  • Define campaign solutions to deliver and optimize results across brand awareness, intent, conversions, and ROI.
  • Build UTM and pixel-based tracking for campaign measurement.
  • Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Experience managing large and small SEM & paid social campaigns.
  • Experience working with PPC ad platforms such as Google, Bing, Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Display, YouTube, and others.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Strong quantitative and creative-thinking skills.
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Highly organized and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of paid digital media (PPC/SEM) experience, specifically with Google Ads and Facebook/Instagram and LinkedIn Ads.
  • 1+ year of Google Analytics setup and reporting preferred.
  • Experience managing campaign budgets and tracking performance.
  • Experience with campaign management tools such as Asana or similar.

Nice to Have

  • Agency background experience.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred).
  • 2+ years of paid digital media experience.
