Digital Outreach Strategist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule digital or media content for daily/weekly social media posts.
• Coordinate all digital content to ensure the foundation's online presence is dynamic, engaging, relevant, and mission-driven.
• Provide ongoing content coordination of the foundation's website and social media platforms through graphic design efforts using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, or similar software.
• Help develop conceptual ideas and frameworks for physical flyers, social media posts, website content, and other projects.
• Work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines for digital, creative, and graphic design tasks, including seasonal campaigns.
• Translate written English content and messaging into Spanish.
• Capture photos and videos at in-person functions, maintain photo files, and upload media to social media platforms via Facebook Meta Business Suite or similar tools.
• Track online Google analytics and support data reporting needs.
• Assist with administrative duties such as answering phones, taking messages, conducting intake processes, and email correspondence.
• Compile weekly and monthly reports on social media performance, reach, engagement, and audience metrics.
• Develop and manage the intake and referral process in Salesforce.
• Attend, coordinate, and help execute foundation events, including organizing, setup, breakdown, and logistics.
• Help develop new programming and manage current programs by visiting sites, meeting partners, and promoting at tabling events.
• Identify community needs related to food insecurity, medical needs, disability, veteran affairs, Medicare, and Medicaid assistance.
• Familiarize with other local 501(c)(3) organizations and their missions.
• Make meaningful connections with community members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of digital media, graphic design, and/or content creation experience.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Strong time management skills.
• Skilled in graphic design software or programming, such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and database software.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Reliable transportation for commuting to events and meetings.
• Ability to work in office and off-site locations.
• Must be able to work efficiently under pressure.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in the healthcare field or non-profit sector.
• Spanish-speaking skills.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - preferred but not required.
