About the Role

The Director, Business Operations & Commercial Insights is a critical role on the Online International team. This role will be responsible supporting the strategic and business efforts on building global E⁃Commerce channels and platforms via deeper analysis on emerging trends, new business opportunities and leveraging data to find key advantages for the portfolio. This role will be responsible for driving with the Global & regional ecommerce teams to analyze channel and brand performance, assess and identify and implement opportunities and programming that will result in growth, and manage reporting at the brand and regional level. This role will also manage the organization and measurement of data and business narrative to drive progress across core areas such as platform performance, online priorities, and key business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor Online International regions' channel sales performance, NOP and market share, develop business operational dashboards, gather data from multiple sources, interpret data into key insights and make actionable recommendations.
  • Partner closely with ED of Strategy, Online International to prepare relevant material for senior management discussion on key Online International business focuses, set up & manage Online Monthly Business Reviews with International regions to drive delivery against fiscal plan.
  • Solidify and optimize the economic model of existing & new ecommerce channels, develop and stand up business processes & operations for new models/channels, continuously optimize operations for the new channel/model.
  • Coordinate with regional & brand business stakeholders to gather, organize, and prioritize strategy requirements for strategic reviews of channel performance and priority initiatives.
  • Summarize industry trends and benchmarks, provide insights to inform business operations & initiative priorities.
  • Analyze current processes, programs, and reports to identify how to best meet future business needs.

Requirements

  • BS/BA required.
  • 8+ years work experience in a retail business role, with business process management and omnichannel experience preferred.
  • Enjoys working with data and numbers to drive business model optimization & growth.
  • In-depth understanding of the business processes of an online business and organization to support and deliver on strategic projects.
  • Strong skills in business planning, budget and P/L management, background in marketing or merchandising preferred.
  • Capability to drive results in a highly matrixed organization with competing priorities.
  • Needs to be a creative and analytical thinker and problem solver, thrive in fast paced environment, prioritize and oversee multiple projects at once, have attention to detail and work well with cross functional teams.
  • Possess strong business writing skills to create requirements, pitches and solutions documents, training or reference materials as needed.
