About the Role

The Senior Director of AI Solution Architecture at Epsilon is responsible for transforming digital marketing capabilities through innovative AI solutions. This strategic leader provides thought leadership, aligns client business objectives with AI/ML technologies, and guides teams in designing and deploying sophisticated marketing solutions that deliver measurable business results. The role requires a visionary who can bridge marketing strategy and technical implementation to drive growth and innovation in digital marketing technology.

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement the strategic vision for integrating AI into digital marketing technology offerings.
Lead client engagements to understand business challenges and architect AI-powered marketing solutions.
Partner with sales teams to develop technical narratives and solution architectures for high-value opportunities.
Guide team members by actively contributing to the codebase and leading technical teams.
Design and implement architectural frameworks, guidelines, and standards for AI-powered marketing solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to solution architects and technical leaders.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments in AI capabilities.
Collaborate with product teams to shape the roadmap for marketing technology platforms.
Cultivate innovation through proof-of-concepts, pilots, and research initiatives.
Build thought leadership content to establish market position as AI leaders in digital marketing.

Requirements

7+ years in technology leadership roles with experience in digital marketing platforms.
Proven record of leading solution architecture for enterprise clients.
Experience translating business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
Strong client-facing communication skills to explain complex technical concepts.
Deep understanding of modern marketing technology stacks and AI/ML frameworks.
Experience designing solutions with large language models (LLMs) from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS, Google, and Microsoft.
Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, vector databases, and semantic search technologies.
Experience with cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices.
Proficiency in data modeling, data pipelines, and analytics platforms supporting AI/ML workloads.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Nice to Have

Certifications in major cloud platforms or AI/ML technologies.
Experience leading digital transformation initiatives.
History of technical publication or speaking at industry conferences.
Experience mentoring and developing technical talent.
Background in agile methodologies and product development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in technology leadership roles.
Experience with AI/ML technologies, cloud architecture, and marketing technology stacks.
