About the Role

As the Director, you will be responsible for driving new business development initiatives for RVO Health, as well as nurturing and growing existing partnerships. We're looking for someone to join our Business Development team with a well-rounded skillset who can help grow our business in key areas of opportunity, which are multi-faceted. The ideal candidate will be a self-starting team player with a strategic mindset, positive attitude and a track record of identifying strategic partnerships, closing partnerships, and maintaining relationships and growing our footprint at existing partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new strategic partnership ideas to support RVO Health's growth targets
  • Uncover and analyze potential opportunities and initiatives to drive revenue through strategic analysis
  • Deeply understand our offerings and strategic story in order to pitch to new partners and clearly explain the RVO Health value proposition
  • Manage the deal cycle from engagement to negotiation and contract execution to partnership implementation
  • Work closely with other key stakeholders and leadership to define and shape business development strategy and achieve business goals
  • Manage and grow existing partner relationships

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience in Business Development or similar strategy role with a history of producing results
  • Ability to organize complicated business processes and logically drive partnerships from ideation to execution and maintenance
  • Energy and hunger to keep up with industry trends in the lifesciences and media industries in order to come up with our next big idea
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities with all levels of an organization
  • Self-starter with high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to conduct analysis, interpret data, and create financial models
  • Self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and genuine interest in cultivating a culture that seeks excellence
  • Ability to assimilate research and thrive in a data-driven environment
  • Ability to context shift and multitask in a fast-paced media environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the lifesciences and media industries
  • Experience with strategic partnership development and negotiation
  • Knowledge of healthcare and digital media landscapes

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in business development or strategy roles (5-10+ years)
