Director, Demand Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define team goals and priorities in collaboration with organization leadership.
• Lead and coach a high-performing team, managing various digital marketing channels including programmatic advertising, publishers, on-site lifecycle tools, and off-site nurture.
• Establish how the team utilizes and rolls out AI tools to increase operational excellence.
• Develop strategic, multi-prong digital plans to support key initiatives such as product-led free user acquisition and lead engagement across markets and audiences.
• Collaborate closely with product, demand, regional, web, content, design, legal, and procurement teams.
• Push the boundaries of digital marketing through testing and experimentation to accelerate engagement, acquisition, and conversion targets.
• Forecast, budget, measure, and report on digital initiatives, continuously optimizing ROI.
• Drive cross-functional innovation in content development, user journey experiences, and digital presence.
• Work with Revenue Operations to improve lead operations, privacy, and compliance practices.
• Build storytelling, reporting dashboards, and ensure attribution evolves with the business.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with B2B digital and omni-channel marketing, including programmatic advertising, search, social, ABM advertising, media buying, negotiating, and procurement.
• Experience managing and mentoring marketing team members.
• Strong data-driven, performance-focused, and curious growth mindset.
• Proven ability to present team progress and wins to peers and executives.
• Ability to build trust with leaders and peers across Marketing, Product, and Sales.
• Proven project management and roadmap development skills for strategic marketing teams.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with impact-oriented execution.
• Passion for learning and creative problem solving, especially in marketing tech innovation.
• Understanding of user journey mapping, web design, and development fundamentals.
• MarTech experience with Marketo, ChatBots (e.g., Intercom), Salesforce, Looker or similar BI tools, GA4, and vendor/agency management.
• Ideally, prior success in a cybersecurity or developer marketing organization.
