Director, Global Forecasting and Insights- Oncology

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Director, Integrated Insights and Global Strategic Marketing leadership to define global market research priorities to proactively inform upcoming business decisions.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative primary research across physician, patient, and payer groups.
• Analyze, synthesize, and guide the organization based on market insights.
• Analyze secondary data sources (e.g., script data, epidemiology data) to produce summaries, insights/implications, and evaluate potential new sources.
• Develop and maintain long-term forecast models for key products/indications, including forecasts of epidemiology, competitive market, product share, price, and revenue.
• Collaborate with regional and local analytics teams, literature resources, competitive intelligence, R&D, pricing, market access, and marketing/sales to incorporate quality data assumptions into forecasting models.
• Carry out deterministic base-case and scenario modeling, including Monte Carlo simulations, to support decision-making.
• Manage the execution of quantitative market research (e.g., discrete-choice conjoint) to inform revenue forecasting via predictive patient share modeling.
• Present complex data and insights to senior leadership, simplifying technical information for diverse audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and twelve years of experience, or Master's Degree and ten years of experience, or PhD and eight years of experience.
• Experience in successfully influencing senior cross-functional partners and driving consensus.
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders, peers, and teams.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and managing diverse viewpoints.
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative data clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, for data presentation.
• Experience with global sales and marketing organizations and pharmaceutical data sources such as patient claims, EMR/EHR, lab data, and chart audits.
• Experience in conducting commercial analytics, market research, and patient-based revenue modeling.
• Strong project management skills including planning, prioritization, and execution.

Nice to Have

• Experience with epidemiology data analysis.
• Knowledge of oncology therapeutic area, especially breast cancer.
• Experience with advanced statistical modeling and scenario analysis.

Qualifications

• Educational qualifications as specified in requirements: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD with relevant experience.
