About the Role

The Director Global Marketing Programs at Qlik is a strategic and operational leader responsible for transforming and scaling the global marketing programs function. This role involves leading demand generation campaigns, cross-functional initiatives, and brand activations within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The position sits at the intersection of Product Marketing, Brand, Digital, and Field Marketing, aiming to drive business outcomes through integrated, digital-first marketing execution. Qlik is a Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ Leader with a focus on transforming complex data landscapes into actionable insights for over 40,000 global customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and execution of global marketing programs including demand generation campaigns, cross-functional initiatives, and brand activations.
  • Define and lead the transformation of the marketing programs function by establishing clear roles, workflows, and KPIs to drive clarity, accountability, and speed across teams.
  • Serve as a strategic bridge between Product Marketing, Brand, Digital, and Field Marketing, ensuring alignment and orchestration across channels and stakeholders.
  • Develop integrated program frameworks that are digital-first, data-informed, and globally scalable, while accounting for local and regional needs.
  • Partner closely with Marketing Operations and Analytics to define success metrics and drive ongoing measurement, learning, and optimization.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of program managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
  • Bring rigor and discipline to the execution process, balancing agility with operational excellence.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior marketing and cross-functional leaders, providing clarity, structure, and leadership across complex initiatives.
  • Help others 'get it done' while ensuring decisions are aligned with business needs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with 5+ years in a senior programs or campaigns leadership role.
  • Proven track record of building and leading global marketing programs at scale within high-growth or enterprise organizations.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, campaign execution, and marketing technology.
  • Strong strategic thinking and operational skills, comfortable in planning and production review contexts.
  • Exceptional collaboration and influence skills to lead through complexity and build cross-functional alignment.
  • Clear communication skills to rally teams and drive decisions, with the ability to be firm when needed.
  • Experience working in matrixed global organizations and navigating between central and regional marketing teams.
  • A data-informed mindset with a passion for building scalable systems and processes.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, change, and building from the ground up.
  • Background in data or analytics-driven environments is a strong plus.
