Job Description

About the Role

Your Role at Cabot involves leading global marketing and program management for the Engineered Elastomer Composites (E2C) business. You will participate in regular updates to executive sponsors, including the President of the Reinforcement Materials segment and the company's CTO. The role focuses on driving new business creation, addressing sustainability challenges in the chemical, mining, and transportation industries, and defining and implementing go-to-market strategies to maximize revenue growth while ensuring project progress and alignment with business metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global marketing strategies to maximize E2C product line revenue growth, including understanding market environment, investigating opportunities, setting product development objectives, and designing marketing campaigns and sales tools.
  • Develop and drive implementation of brand and marketing strategy for the E2C product line, including creating messaging, defining content, and driving training and communication strategies.
  • Lead program management for E2C Scorecard priorities by writing objectives, developing Project Charters, tracking progress, communicating status, and driving corrective actions.
  • Maintain the E2C Stage Gate and New Market Development Project Pipelines, ensuring projects follow processes to meet business objectives.
  • Act as a Project Leader and/or coach to ensure high-quality project updates and review materials.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues across North & South America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia Pacific, providing coaching and ensuring effective alignment across the global team.
  • Participate in remote/telecommute work up to 40%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Chemistry, Engineering, or relevant technical field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in product marketing, strategic consulting, new business development, project management, or related fields.
  • 4 years of experience in Industrial B2B markets such as chemicals, materials, automotive, or transportation.
  • 4 years of experience in identifying and analyzing market and business issues, interpreting and synthesizing information.
  • 4 years of experience in communicating complex problems, solutions, and driving decision alignment.
  • 4 years of experience in project management, leading critical projects, and implementing structures to monitor progress.
  • 4 years of experience in identifying opportunities to add and capture value.
  • Understanding of products and customer applications, with experience in positioning products for commercial success.
  • Willingness to travel 20% (10% domestic, 10% international) and work remotely up to 40%.
  • Successful background check and drug test required.
