That's where you come in. As the person leading our paid social and programmatic marketing, you'll build, coach, and lead a team of world-class marketers responsible for generating high-quality leads and building pipeline via multiple digital paid channels, executing strategies to launch and measure new ones. This role is highly cross-functional, partnering closely with creative, content, growth, analytics, marketing operations, and GTM teams to help Rippling win. The Performance Marketing team is within the growth marketing org, a key driver in Rippling's trajectory, recognized for rapid growth and success in B2B marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the worldwide, multi-channel strategy for building awareness among highly targeted audiences, nurturing them to consideration, and driving conversion. Own the customer acquisition strategy for paid social and programmatic channels.
  • Manage 8-figure annual budgets efficiently, hitting or exceeding targets and continuously optimizing channel and campaign allocations to maximize revenue.
  • Build an experimentation engine within your team that fuels scale and efficiency gains; optimize via test and learn.
  • Establish the structure and processes to operate a centralized worldwide paid advertising team with stakeholders across geographies and product lines.
  • Own current channels and develop strategies for launching new ones to maximize the ability to effectively market Rippling's product suite.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-caliber team of paid marketers to meet or exceed targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build and iterate on campaigns, partner with growth stakeholders to share learnings, brainstorm, and report results.
  • Partner with analytics to create a measurement ecosystem that tracks leading indicators and KPIs throughout the funnel to maximize ROI.
  • Engage in IC initiatives to maximize team impact, including hands-on execution when necessary.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience, with at least 5 in performance marketing.
  • 3+ years managing a team of more than 3 marketers.
  • End-to-end ownership and flawless execution of projects, owning mistakes and learning from them.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to modulate communication for different audiences.
  • Track record of delivering outsized results through cross-functional partnership.
  • Strong analytical skills to uncover insights and incorporate them into strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with DSP and/or social platforms, including display, native, OLV, CTV, LinkedIn, Meta, and YouTube.
  • Agility and speed in trying new ideas, pivoting when necessary, and scaling successful initiatives.
  • Strong technical ability working with ad platforms, pixels, and feeds.
  • Confidence analyzing large data sets and using findings to develop strategies.
  • Deep understanding of measurement and attribution; experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) is a plus.
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
