About the Role

The Director, Integrated Media Planning at OMG23 is responsible for managing the integrated media strategy and execution of Disney offline and online media plans. The role involves maintaining effective communication between all internal teams, including TV, digital (search, social, analytics), outdoor, multicultural, research, and activation teams. The position requires a strong understanding of media disciplines and high-level business objectives, leading a large team within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role is based in Burbank, CA, with a hybrid work model requiring three days in-office and two days remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works with Vice President to manage the development of media campaigns, ensuring that all plans are strategically sound and have solid rationalization
  • Works closely with internal activation teams to develop and sync overall campaign strategy
  • Serves as the client contact for strategic oversight and overall problem solving/troubleshooting
  • Plays an integral role in TV and digital upfront processes and recommendations
  • Presents to clients, effectively communicating overall plan strategy, including tactics across all media types
  • Helps manage topline assignments outside the day-to-day workload including consumer research and media landscape reports in conjunction with the research team
  • Helps lead and contribute to overall process efficiencies
  • Provides strategic counsel for Associate Directors and Supervisors on implementation, planning, and analysis across multiple campaigns
  • Manages the day-to-day work of the team
  • Ensures overall accuracy with client budgets, investments, and media campaign execution
  • Maintains strong, professional relationships with clients and vendors
  • Assists in evaluating bigger partnerships and sponsorship opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of previous media experience, with entertainment and/or retail account experience a plus
  • Strong background in traditional and digital media planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage and deliver effective narratives
  • Ability to direct and coach team members
  • Demonstrated leadership presence: mature, bright, and polished
  • Ability to communicate clearly in internal and client meetings
  • Ability to be agile and adaptable in a quick turnaround environment
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with Nielsen, R/F Reports, IMS Suite, Kantar, MRI, and Simmons
