About the Role

The Director, Marketing Strategy is responsible for owning marketing performance, crafting and driving the marketing strategy, and identifying sources of growth across US Headquartered Enterprise Corporations. This role involves working closely with business leaders to translate business objectives into impactful marketing strategies and plans, developing acquisition, cross-sell, and upsell strategies, leading market research, and optimizing campaign performance through data and customer insights. The position emphasizes strategic planning, collaboration with senior leadership, and driving sales growth through targeted marketing efforts within a fast-paced, global organization committed to inclusion, social impact, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact and trusted thought partner between the Segment Lead and Marketing team, working closely with business leaders to translate business objectives into impactful marketing strategies and plans.
  • Develop acquisition, cross-sell, and upsell marketing strategies and plans to meet business objectives, including expertise in Enterprise and account-based marketing experimentation methodologies via iterative planning cycles.
  • Lead market research and develop robust knowledge of US Enterprise buyers and their customer journeys, key barriers, and triggers.
  • Identify commonalities between sub-segment needs and positioning to drive scale in marketing campaigns.
  • Use customer insights, competitive intelligence, and data/analytics to establish iterative planning cycles where campaign performance is reviewed and modified to drive impactful campaigns.
  • Surface customer needs and insights to develop strategic program briefs that inspire the Marketing organization for impactful campaign planning and execution.
  • Use data/analytics, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to optimize campaign strategies and performance, and build experimental roadmaps.
  • Deliver effective marketing strategies to fuel the sales funnel, from marketing qualified leads to closed sales, based on agreed-upon goals.
  • Ensure customer voice is integrated into marketing actions to achieve financial targets and sales growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, strategy, campaign strategy, and/or segment/subsegment roles.
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science required; MBA preferred.
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior leadership is strongly preferred.
  • High-achieving, data-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong ability to foster and influence relationships across multiple levels and functions within an organization.
  • Highly analytical approach to experimentation and campaign performance analysis.
  • Experience leveraging customer insights to drive strategy, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a matrixed environment is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketing to Corporate Legal buyers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS); Master's degree (MBA) preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in marketing and strategy.
