Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the global annual and quarterly Marketing planning process for Demand Generation Marketing, driving collaboration across the Global Demand Generation leadership team and with key stakeholders in Sales, GTM Strategy & Planning, and Finance.
  • Direct the strategic prioritization of marketing investments, facilitating alignment among budget owners on critical trade-off decisions and establishing a sophisticated investment framework to assess business outcomes.
  • Oversee and elevate the global Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process for Demand Generation Marketing, synthesizing performance insights and presenting key findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making by delivering analytical insights on marketing performance to stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and GTM Strategy & Planning, and proactively identify strategic opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders, providing counsel on strategic direction, operational improvements, and initiatives to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Lead and champion complex, cross-functional, global strategic initiatives from inception through execution, ensuring organizational alignment and resource allocation.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of marketing strategy and planning professionals, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Analytics leadership to develop robust reporting capabilities that meet strategic needs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing Strategy & Planning, Strategic Analytics, or similar leadership roles within a high-growth B2B SaaS company, with proven experience leading strategic planning cycles and influencing senior leadership.
  • 8+ years of experience managing and optimizing large-scale global marketing budgets, with a strong understanding of financial planning principles and ROI analysis.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business drivers, including pipeline and revenue analytics, investment ratios, full-funnel metrics, and marketing technology foundations.
  • Extensive experience developing and executing global marketing strategies that significantly contribute to business growth in complex environments.
  • Exceptional strategic, analytical, and structured thinking skills, with the ability to develop clear frameworks and data-backed solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams across distributed organizations, building strong relationships and achieving alignment.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and persuasively to executive audiences.
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing teams in a results-oriented environment.
  • BS/BA degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
