About the Role

The Head of Demand Generation & Marketing Automation at Aon is responsible for leading demand generation strategies and marketing automation initiatives to drive effective lead management and campaign execution. The role involves leveraging CRM and marketing technology stacks to support business growth, standardize lead processes, optimize reporting, and foster collaboration across teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Standardize lead processes, accelerate adoption of new data architecture and tools (such as Eloqua intake forms and global lead routing), and optimize lead vetting and reporting to support business growth.
  • Support demand generation through the execution of marketing initiatives, developing and implementing campaign frameworks, design templates, and reporting systems across multiple marketing automation platforms.
  • Ensure seamless lead distribution and management across Aon Connect (Oracle) and Salesforce environments, focusing on driving adoption and tracking program progress.
  • Manage global demand generation campaigns supporting new business, cross-sell, upsell, and re-engagement efforts.
  • Support end-to-end event promotion and create a campaign structure that drives results from events.
  • Create scalable, efficient marketing programs aligned with core and growth priorities, leading collaboration between Digital Marketing and the wider business.
  • Provide team leadership and direction, communicating strategy clearly, setting standards, and fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Develop best practices groups and collaborative campaign planning sessions to promote cross-team collaboration.

  • Leverages data-driven insights from campaign performance and marketing platforms to inform decision-making.

  • Communicates complex strategies and technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Maintains focus on KPIs such as MQL and MCR targets, balancing quality, speed, and scalability.
  • Invests in team development, promotes ongoing learning, and recognizes contributions.
  • Anticipates business and client needs to create value through demand generation activities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua, Oracle, and Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of global lead routing and data architecture implementation.
  • Experience managing large-scale demand generation campaigns and event promotion.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with campaign reporting and optimization.
