About the Role

The Director of Community Marketing at Edgehill Continuing Care Retirement Community in Stamford, CT, is responsible for driving occupancy by developing meaningful personal relationships with potential residents, their families, and professional partners. The role focuses on prospect-centered selling within a dynamic and innovative sales culture that emphasizes making a difference in the lives of seniors. The position involves supporting potential families, educating them about Edgehill's offerings, and managing relationships to achieve community occupancy goals.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting potential families in their exploration of senior living options and educating them on Edgehill offerings to guide them to choosing the community
Achieving quarterly targets through successful sales execution and pipeline management
Building and maintaining prospect and professional relationships through strong lead base and CRM management
Generating and maintaining your pipeline
Comprehensive understanding of the community's competitive market landscape
Researching and/or visiting competitors' facilities
Articulating the difference of Edgehill's offerings
Cultivating and managing reciprocal professional relationships throughout the marketplace
Being an empathetic, diligent, and committed active listener with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Developing strong professional relationships within the community and target markets that lead to qualified referrals

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
3-5 years of proven sales experience in Lifecare Communities for seniors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
Possessing a driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle
Ability to speak intelligently about our services
