Director of Development & Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop demand for services in the communities served by NCYF.
• Create and maintain relationships with clients across all service areas.
• Build communication strategies and messaging both internally and externally.
• Research and identify potential funding opportunities.
• Write and submit grant proposals to government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
• Promote NCYF services through advertising, social media, industry-related events, and vendor fairs.
• Maintain and enhance the organization's brand and identify new marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
• At least 3 years minimum experience in customer service, marketing, or data management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on empathy and quality service.
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, social media management, and content creation.
• Proven experience in grant proposal writing with a successful track record of securing funding.
• Experience managing databases related to grants or funding opportunities is preferred.
• This position is fully in office, M-F 9a-5p, some travel required.
