About the Role

The Director of Enrollment Marketing leads the strategy, execution, and optimization of marketing efforts to drive undergraduate interest, applications, and enrollments, partnering with various university departments to build integrated, data-driven campaigns that enhance the AU brand and meet recruitment goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops multichannel marketing campaigns and communication content aimed at generating undergraduate applications and enrollments.
  • Creates content for recruitment publications, presentations, outbound mass email communications, social media channels, and video production.
  • Oversees the undergraduate admissions and financial aid websites and related digital platforms to ensure content accuracy, engagement, and alignment with branding and enrollment goals.
  • Creates and maintains a system to track campaign timelines and progress, providing updates to the Executive Director for Enrollment Marketing and Communications.
  • Conducts analysis of relevant KPIs to evaluate campaign efficacy and proposes strategic adjustments as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with visual identity and brand communication standards, and serves on cross-functional committees related to university web presence and communications.
  • Assists in on-campus recruitment events and other related assignments.
  • Supervises the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in student recruitment or a comparable demand-generation environment.
  • Expertise in digital marketing channels and funnel optimization.
  • Proficiency with marketing analytics tools, CRM/marketing automation platforms (specifically Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud), and basic HTML/CSS principles.
  • Strong project-management skills and ability to manage multiple high-stakes initiatives under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in student recruitment or demand-generation environments.
  • Expertise in digital marketing channels and funnel optimization.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
