As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for leading marketing strategies, brand management, and supporting growth initiatives to drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.
  • Owns the marketing blueprint, reporting and optimization to ensure channel activities drive the business forward and capture market share.
  • Performs lead generation campaigns and measures success of various marketing initiatives.
  • Helps promote uniformity and consistency of brand.
  • Conducts market research and develops marketing plans for growth areas.
  • Utilizes data and financial acumen to make accurate strategic decisions.
  • Motivates, inspires, and leads others while demonstrating a roll-up-the-sleeves mentality.
  • Drives profitable sales through brand execution while keeping the customer front and center.
  • Responsible for the brand strategy and execution of marketing that supports business development and growth.
  • Acts as the main point of contact for public relations and media interactions.
  • Serves as a public voice for Daniel Defense and is familiar with brand and customer personas.
  • Supports digital marketing and eCommerce initiatives.
  • Analyzes relevant data and analytics to make efficient and effective decisions.
  • Leads successful product marketing initiatives.
  • Develops and executes content development strategies.
  • Supports trade shows logistics, attendance, and ROI tracking.
  • Manages budgets and develops accountability structures for team members.
  • Builds and maintains agency and partner relationships through proactive communication.
  • Ensures external communication aligns with company values and brand positioning.
  • Develops media planning, buying, and innovation strategies.
  • Provides design and direction for collateral, web, product packaging, and visual communications.
  • Enforces brand guidelines across marketing strategies and the business.
  • Leads social media strategy to reach new customers and expand brand awareness.
  • Collaborates with revenue teams and engineering to drive product initiatives.
  • Oversees marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Provides support, training, and development to team members to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Contributes to company standards on integrity, safety, fairness, and creating a positive work environment.
  • Performs other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in Marketing or business-related area.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all company officials, employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Ability to balance multiple objectives simultaneously, including product launches, campaigns, media strategy, and trade shows.
  • Skilled in Photoshop and video editing, with a motivation to learn and fill gaps in knowledge.
  • Positive attitude and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software such as Access, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including working around machinery, noise, chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Intermittent standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
  • Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
