Director of Marketing, Portfolio

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute marketing strategy and new product development processes to achieve divisional revenue growth and goals within allocated budget.
• Develop and recommend strategic plans and initiatives to gain greater market share, improve revenue, and increase penetration.
• Evaluate market data, trending, and sales data to inform and modify marketing plans.
• Assess potential markets to provide insight into new product development projects, M&A, and divestiture decisions.
• Develop customer-focused value propositions to create engagement and loyalty for future products.
• Advise senior business leaders on strategic opportunities to grow the portfolio and improve financial results.
• Cultivate key customer relationships with healthcare providers, KOLs, and the field sales organization to gain market insight and drive product preference.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional groups (RAQA, Finance, GQO, Legal, R&D, etc.) and collaborate with other Portfolio Marketing leaders.
• Develop and grow portfolio managers and individual contributors, contributing to Emergency Care Marketing as a talent destination.
• Manage key New Product Development pipeline and product roadmap, ensuring projects are on-time and on-budget, and align priorities across PMO, R&D, and Marketing.
• Collaborate with downstream marketing, Education, and leadership to implement comprehensive strategies.
• Lead and build a high-performance, accountable, and growth-oriented global team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 10 years of experience in sales, sales training, and management
• 4 years of experience directly managing a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Persuasive communication skills in the absence of organizational authority
• Ability to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
• Physical ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible force frequently or constantly
• Proficiency in coordinating eye, hand, and foot movement, and meeting cognitive demands including visual and auditory discrimination, reading, and memory retention
