About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Outbound Marketing to lead and scale our recruiting, brand-building, and outreach efforts in the life insurance and end of life planning space. This role is central to driving market expansion through strategic campaigns, powerful partnerships, and omnichannel visibility—especially across funeral homes, agencies, and agent networks. In this role, you'll take ownership of outbound marketing efforts across multiple verticals within the life insurance space, develop marketing strategies, and execute plans across multiple channels designed to drive demand and pipeline for our sales teams. You'll serve as the critical bridge between marketing and sales, ensuring that field-based initiatives align with our broader marketing goals while delivering measurable business results. As a key growth leader, you will manage, collaborate, develop, and build data-driven and scalable strategies. You will partner cross-functionally to fuel sustainable revenue growth and expand our customer base. This is a high-impact role for a marketer who thrives on testing, learning, and executing measurable results in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead agent, funeral home, and agency recruiting initiatives nationally
  • Design and implement scalable onboarding programs in partnership with internal teams
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the life insurance and funeral service space
  • Develop and maintain funnel tracking systems and analytics for recruitment
  • Spearhead public relations efforts to elevate the company's brand image in the life insurance sector
  • Drive brand awareness campaigns through owned, earned, and paid media channels
  • Manage reputation strategy and outbound messaging
  • Create, execute, and track cross-marketing campaigns with other SNFC companies
  • Lead and execute on funeral home-specific marketing efforts to strengthen B2B partnerships and customer referrals
  • Plan and collaborate on creative execution for conventions, paid social campaigns, and digital activations
  • Develop, execute, and collaborate on creative for traditional and digital channels including print advertising, website, email marketing, and SEO work
  • Supervise design and delivery of the annual report in collaboration with the creative team
  • Perform market research and competitor analysis to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities
  • Analyze performance data from past campaigns to optimize spend and impact
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to test new strategies and unlock new market segments
  • Develop and refine long-term marketing strategies aligned with company goals
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration, especially with sales, compliance, operations, and design

Requirements

  • Proven experience in talent/recruiting strategy at the national or regional level
  • Strong track record in brand management, public relations, and strategic planning
  • Analytical mindset with hands-on experience in data-driven marketing
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms and CRM tools

Nice to Have

  • Experience within the financial, insurance or end of life planning markets
  • 5+ years of experience in managing high performing cross functional teams
  • Proficient in Spanish: fluent speaking, reading, and writing skills
