Director of Wealth Marketing (Banking)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to target affluent clients, including market segmentation, positioning, and messaging.
• Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, events, and partnerships.
• Design and implement client engagement programs to enhance client relationships and loyalty.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape within the affluent market.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.
• Work closely with sales, product development, and other internal teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
• Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI tracking.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on wealth management clients.
• Strong understanding of the affluent market and wealth management industry.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and CRM tools.
• Technical skills to identify, access, and analyze significant data, including the ability to circumvent existing controls.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and drive marketing initiatives.

Nice to Have

• Experience working across multiple states including AZ, CA, CO, NV, TX, UT.
• Experience with in-office roles requiring some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on wealth management clients
