About the Role

The Director, PMT, Global Optimization, Sponsored Products and Brands at Amazon.com Services LLC is responsible for leading global optimization initiatives for Sponsored Products and Brands (GO-SPB). This role involves managing experiences, launches, and performance optimization across multiple international marketplaces, partnering with various teams to drive performance, and leading a high-performing, cross-functional team to deliver scalable results that impact billions of clicks, sales, and revenue. The position is high-impact and high-visibility, ideal for a leader who thrives on complexity and is passionate about improving customer and advertiser outcomes globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Global Optimization for Sponsored Products and Brands (GO-SPB), overseeing experiences, launches, and performance in each marketplace.
  • Partner with teams across SPB, Stores leadership, Monetization, and Ads Monetization to build localized insights and models for entitlement and performance benchmarks.
  • Own reporting on the business and develop strategies to reach the Best-at-Amazon benchmark across all marketplaces.
  • Manage and lead a team of 50+ members, including direct reports and embedded team members, operating as a high-leverage, cross-functional optimization force.
  • Drive measurable results related to performance, customer experience, and international expansion.
  • Coordinate with business leaders in different marketplaces to ensure alignment and successful execution of optimization initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical product management, program management, or engineering experience.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience owning roadmap strategy and feature delivery, including tradeoffs.
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to lead a large, cross-functional team and operate in a complex, global environment.

  • Experience working in international markets and localization.
  • Experience with performance optimization and data-driven decision making.
  • Leadership experience in a high-growth or high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
