About the Role

The Director of Product Management at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., within the Operations Group > Product Management, will drive software feature prioritization and establish product development methodologies for Edge Impulse's Edge AI SaaS products. This role involves building and leading a growing product team within a large organization that maintains startup-like agility, focusing on delivering customer value and managing day-to-day product evolution decisions in a fast-paced environment that includes acquisitions and changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead feature prioritization and roadmap development for B2B Edge AI SaaS products, establishing clear rationale for development sequencing
Evolve product development processes to systematically gather and incorporate inputs from customer solutions engineering, customer success, pre-sales, developer relations, and engineering teams
Collaborate closely with product managers and product designers to create cohesive product experiences
Establish data-informed decision frameworks that incorporate user feedback and site monitoring metrics
Build and manage a focused but growing team of product professionals
Navigate a fast-paced environment with frequent acquisitions and changing priorities
Serve as the bridge between customer needs and technical feasibility

Requirements

12+ years of experience in product management for B2B SaaS products
Background in product design with a progression into product management leadership
Experience managing teams of product managers and designers
Proven track record of implementing structured product development methodologies
Demonstrated success managing cross-functional product teams
History of taking on increasing responsibility in fast-paced environments
Ability to thrive in a startup-like culture within a larger organization
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with embedded systems or hardware-adjacent software products
Familiarity with Edge AI/ML applications in product development
Experience at both startups and larger organizations
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field
8+ years of Product Management or related work experience

Nice to Have

Experience managing teams of product managers and designers
Experience with embedded systems or hardware-adjacent software products
Familiarity with Edge AI/ML applications in product development
Experience at both startups and larger organizations

Qualifications

No academic requirements; professional experience is emphasized
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field
8+ years of Product Management or related work experience
