About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Digital Product Manager to join the program team as part of the Core Banking Modernization group within Consumer and Business Deposits. The role involves overseeing products and solutions that service the core banking modernization journey, collaborating with business partners and leaders to drive enterprise-wide modernization efforts. The position is critical in shaping foundational banking systems that manage customer information, accounts, transactions, and applications across the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs in support of core banking modernization efforts
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
  • Coordinate highly complex activities and provide guidance to others
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant product plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact to banking systems
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise

Requirements

  • 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver high impact presentations to senior leaders that leverage data to convey a meaningful story
  • Self-starter with high energy and motivation who works well independently and can lead cross-functional teams including corporate executives, channels, marketing, operations, technology, and other business partners
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • Strong sense of urgency and results oriented with the ability to motivate teams and mobilize resources
  • Experience working in an Agile organization
  • Strong relationship management, influencing, operational and execution skills
  • Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve problems
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location and ability to travel up to 20%

Nice to Have

  • Financial services experience preferably in the deposits space
  • Knowledge and understanding of product or program management: development of roadmaps, strategies, and management of products from ideation to market delivery
  • Solid analytics and insights skills and the ability to synthesize data to make decisions
  • Experience in creating strategies and building products and solutions tailored to customer needs
