About the Role

The Director, Security Marketing Global Events at Cisco is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact global events for Cisco's Security business. This role partners closely with senior marketing leaders and stakeholders to deliver innovative experiences that amplify Cisco's cybersecurity brand, drive business growth, and generate strong ROI. The position involves overseeing all aspects of event execution, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering collaboration from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies for major launches, executive summits, and high-touch C-suite experiences.
  • Oversee end-to-end event logistics, budget management, vendor negotiations, and compliance.
  • Deliver personalized, white-glove events with exceptional hospitality and post-event engagement.
  • Drive innovation, including AI adoption and creative event enhancements.
  • Manage and mentor an in-house team and agency partners, optimizing resources.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align events with broader business objectives.
  • Analyze and report on event ROI, pipeline impact, and attendee engagement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience leading large-scale, global event organizations in a B2B environment, with a proven track record of delivering white-glove experiences.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
  • 5+ years' experience managing a team.
