Director, Skeletal Conditions BU Marketing, Global Launch Leader

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global launch team and launch planning for VOXZOGO in Hypochondroplasia.
• Develop global marketing strategy for VOXZOGO in Hypochondroplasia.
• Analyze the competitive environment to support launch planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate competitive intelligence into marketing and commercialization strategies.
• Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, key global cross-functional partners, and key market leaders to align strategy, priorities, and resource allocation.
• Develop, track, and monitor impact of key brand performance metrics.
• Manage budget and external partners effectively.
• Be an ambassador for VOXZOGO and pipeline assets for Skeletal Conditions Business.
• Actively contribute to and participate in global cross-functional teams and the global core marketing team.
• Engage with key stakeholders including Key Opinion Leaders and Patient Advocacy Groups.
• Represent the commercial point of view in cross-functional forums.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Business or Life Sciences (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of professional marketing experience in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals.
• Track record of in-country (ideally across major markets), regional, and global marketing roles with demonstrated ability working with in-country and cross-functional partners.
• Working knowledge and understanding of multiple major pharmaceutical markets.
• Understanding of market access and medical strategy.
• Experience planning and executing launch products (globally or locally).
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills, comfortable with complexity and ambiguity.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, including revenue projection.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior leaders.
• Success interacting at all levels of a matrix organization cross-functionally and cross-geography.
• Strong sense of accountability, collaborative work style, and ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities on time, lead teams, and drive decision making.
• Self-starter with energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time (domestic and international).

Nice to Have

• Sales experience preferred.
• US marketing or launch experience preferred.
• Rare disease experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Business or Life Sciences, with an MBA preferred.
