The role of the Director, Solution Play Go To Market Management, AI Business Solutions, involves translating Microsoft's Commercial Strategy into local execution plans, driving operational excellence, and enabling the AI Business Solution Go to Market Team to achieve impactful results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary product spokesperson and evangelist for the business, leveraging product, industry, market, and competitive knowledge to develop localized strategies and messaging.
  • Build and drive business strategy, tracking the efficacy of plans to ensure sustainable growth within and beyond fiscal boundaries.
  • Create and orchestrate strategic go-to-market (GTM) plans across sales, marketing, consulting, customer success, and partner functions, supporting cross-functional execution.
  • Collaborate with a commercial partner (OCP) to guide and support partner recruitment and enablement to achieve target capacity and quality.
  • Partner with sales to land field enablement accountability and develop sales programs in coordination with business areas and subsidiaries.
  • Support the creation and pursuit of white-space growth opportunities across products and services, leveraging knowledge of revenue, share targets, and capabilities.
  • Partner with engineering to proactively drive capacity forecasting and shape local capacity and service forecasts.
  • Drive GTM strategy and land growth plans focused on revenue, usage, and customer health.
  • Develop competitive strategies to increase market share and actively manage stakeholders to support local product marketing growth.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies across multiple functions including sales, marketing, and partner enablement.
  • Strong ability to create alignment and action across teams, moving roadblocks, and simplifying complex concepts.
  • Proven leadership in managing virtual teams and acting as a thought leader in technology and market strategy.
  • Ability to work with emergent technology and leverage competitive knowledge to shape capacity and service forecasts.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing marketing strategies aligned with business goals and tracking success metrics.
