The position of Director/Sr. Director of Marketing ensures the effective marketing of Fibrinogen Concentrate in the US, developing strategies and plans to attain sales and profit targets, leading cross-functional teams, and driving brand growth in a competitive marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and manage marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics (Brand Plan) to support brands' financial targets for Fibrinogen Concentrate.
  • Serve as brand steward within the organization, ensuring alignment of priorities to meet objectives and advocating for resources necessary to deliver P&L targets.
  • Lead creative development and execution of marketing activities to achieve campaign objectives in Fibrinogen.
  • Stimulate creativity and innovative thinking for HCP promotion and recommend changes to better serve customer needs and maximize sales.
  • Ensure the development and pull-through of effective marketing strategies and programs by providing analytical and strategic leadership.
  • Synthesize data from disparate sources to uncover market insights that can transform the business.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, such as Sales, Medical Affairs, DcX, and Account Management teams, to meet customer needs and identify opportunities for engagement.
  • Oversee field guidance to ensure understanding and appropriate deployment of promotional campaigns.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with operations partners to ensure sales representatives are prepared with up-to-date information.
  • Work closely with Market Research and Strategy teams to align objectives and identify ways to differentiate the Fibrinogen brand.
  • Potentially attract, develop, and retain a motivated marketing team to meet current and future business needs.
  • Operate effectively in a dynamic market environment, especially considering supply and demand fluctuations related to human plasma donations.
  • Communicate regularly with other departments to gather customer feedback and improve marketing strategies.
  • Focus on understanding and meeting external customer needs to maintain competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in marketing within the pharmaceutical/plasma industry.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing within the plasma industry; experience in rare disease, HCP marketing, neurology, and specialty therapeutics preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Experience or education combined with relevant experience (e.g., Bachelor's + 4 years, or Master's + 2 years).
  • Ability to operate in an office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel within the United States.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in neurology and specialty therapeutics.
  • Experience with sales and marketing in the plasma industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
