About the Role

As a Software Engineer in this contingent resource assignment, you may consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering, contribute to large-scale planning, review and analyze challenges, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables while leveraging understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the design, development, and execution of test plans for ETL processes and data pipelines.
Analyze and troubleshoot moderately complex software engineering issues, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.
Collaborate with internal and client engineering teams to meet project deliverables and quality standards.
Apply knowledge of software engineering policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to ensure testing accuracy and completeness.
Contribute to integration and functional testing efforts across systems and platforms.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in software engineering, quality assurance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (e.g., consulting, military service, or education).
4+ years of experience in ETL and manual testing.
Strong SQL skills, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with integration and functional testing in complex environments.

Nice to Have

6+ years of experience in ETL testing.
3+ years of experience in functional and manual testing.
2-4 years of experience with the Hadoop ecosystem.
2-3 years of hands-on experience with Python scripting and Unix Shell.
Familiarity with data validation, transformation logic, and large-scale data systems.
