About the Role

FleishmanHillard is a global integrated communications agency delivering transformational outcomes for some of the world's biggest brands. The FleishmanHillard Social & Digital team is seeking qualified candidates for a paid, full-time internship position within our Washington, D.C. office. Interns are an integral part of our dynamic team and work closely with staff across social media strategy & activation, paid media & advertising, social media research & data analytics and more. This position touches many high-profile accounts in FleishmanHillard's global client network. Key Responsibilities

  • Crafting customized web and social metrics reports.
  • Assisting in the management and creation of paid and organic social campaigns.
  • Contributing to content strategy and ideation.
  • Navigating content management systems and emerging social platforms.
  • Conducting social media research and ongoing monitoring.
  • Providing background research on client-specific issues.
  • Identifying influencers.
  • Drafting content on behalf of clients.
  • Figuring out ways to streamline work with AI.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be a college junior, senior, or a recent college graduate with at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • Must display an eagerness to expand skills in social-focused communications, marketing, advertising, and project management.
  • Available to work full time Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m ET.
  • Social media savvy and comfortable analyzing and interpreting data.
  • Experience or interest with paid social media tools such as Facebook Ad Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Ads Manager.
  • Familiarity with social listening and analysis to inform social media strategy and/or content creation.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting high volumes of data, with a high degree of proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to write clear and concise presentations summarizing data insights for clients.
  • Ability to draft short-form and long-form content for social platforms.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with social listening and analysis tools.
  • Interest in emerging social platforms and new social media trends.
  • Experience with content management systems.

Qualifications

  • College junior, senior, or recent graduate.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
