About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Ingest acceptance criteria and product requirements from product and design and output detailed test cases.
• Develop testing plans to execute test cases for both regression testing on existing features and testing on new features.
• Help find, isolate, and track bugs through resolution.
• Catalog defects in detailed bug tickets.
• Use exploratory testing to support testing activities.
• Partner with product, engineering, and design to prioritize and address bugs.
• Help build and maintain a prioritized bug backlog.
• Help build and maintain a centralized test case catalog.
• Collaborate with engineering to help build and maintain relevant test data.

Requirements

• BS Degree Required.
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
• Ability to pass a fingerprint background check as part of the background check process.
• Proven track record of delivering software projects from initial conception through to completion.
• Experience building direct-to-consumer software products.
• Ability to work in partnership with QA engineering to maintain a robust combined manual and automated testing strategy.
• Experience working in an Agile framework.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-moving team under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Experience working on complex workflow tools.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, medicine).
• Demonstrated interest in Finance, FinTech, InsurTech, and related fields.
