Freedom Boat Club - Regional Marketing Activation Specialist, Southwest Florida Region

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for local marketing activations in the assigned region, providing guidance to the sales team and developing localized campaigns.
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of local events such as boat shows, sales events, and member appreciation gatherings, ensuring successful execution and stakeholder alignment.
• Monitor and evaluate event performance, maintain an event calendar, and provide insights and recommendations based on data.
• Develop, launch, and manage monthly regional promotions across email, text, and other campaigns.
• Prepare and present activation-related communications to stakeholders, team members, and leadership, and develop playbooks for process documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Develop content for regional social media accounts and actively engage with the community.
• Support the creation and distribution of club and member email campaigns, including event invites, promotions, and newsletters.
• Assist in developing marketing collateral, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and promotional objectives.
• Review, approve, and track regional marketing invoices, ensuring proper documentation and budget adherence.
• Provide ad-hoc support for additional marketing initiatives and propose innovative ideas for business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business, or relevant experience.
• 2-5 years of relevant marketing experience.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and editing capabilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in event coordination and management.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally up to 40%.
• Ability to work outdoors and near water during events.
