About the Role

Excel Roofing is hiring a short-term freelancer to rebuild their website from scratch on WordPress, optimize for SEO, and set up multi-platform ad retargeting. This project is expected to take 2-3 months and requires delivering a fast, mobile-friendly, lead-driven site with industry-specific understanding, particularly in roofing and insurance restoration.

Key Responsibilities

Build a brand-new WordPress website (design, structure, integrations).
Ensure mobile optimization, fast load times, and lead-capture functionality.
Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices.
Set up Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Meta Pixel tracking.
Create and launch retargeting campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram (and possibly YouTube).
Provide project handoff documentation and basic training.

Requirements

Proven experience building WordPress websites from scratch (portfolio required).
Strong knowledge of SEO (technical + content).
Experience with multi-platform retargeting setup and ad campaigns (Important).
Familiarity with roofing, restoration, or insurance industries.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
