The role involves working within the Respiratory Global Portfolio and Product Strategy team, reporting to the Global Commercial Head, to shape the future of the brand across two disease areas, including preparing for launch, embedding brand narratives, building value propositions, and driving brand growth and differentiation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the implementation of global strategies in local markets to accelerate brand growth and differentiation.
  • Direct the development of strategies, tactics, and materials for healthcare providers, patients, and pharmacists, partnering with agencies and coordinating feedback from stakeholders.
  • Leverage innovative approaches, including artificial intelligence, to gain deeper customer insights and generate breakthrough communications.
  • Integrate insights from business, medical, and payer teams into the global brand strategy.
  • Identify potential risks, opportunities, and develop proactive plans.
  • Ensure pull-through of new evidence and brand narrative through omnichannel assets, including digital communications and visual aids, working closely with medical, market access, and marketing colleagues.
  • Build omnichannel design strategy, co-create content with global and local teams in a modular fashion to increase speed to market and measure success.
  • Lead competitive scenario planning, increase asset competitiveness, and drive external perception of differentiation and brand advocacy.
  • Support accurate forecasting and financial modeling aligned with therapeutic area strategy and broader business goals.
  • Collaborate effectively across a global matrix team, engaging with medical, commercial, market access, regulatory, and compliance colleagues, as well as regional teams.
  • Lead internal engagement initiatives to drive excitement, cross-functional alignment, and confidence in strategy and product differentiation.
  • Collaborate with teams across brands and therapeutic areas to generate new ideas, overcome barriers, and identify efficiencies.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in science.
  • Experience in the healthcare or biopharma industry, with a strong preference for respiratory therapeutic area.
  • At least 7 years of marketing experience, including customer insight, positioning, value propositions, segmentation, and targeting.
  • Solid understanding of commercial strategy, methodologies, and tools such as product profiling, positioning, forecasting, pricing, reimbursement, market research, and competitive intelligence.
  • Experience analyzing business performance and driving market and brand acceleration.
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional project teams and matrix environments, with the ability to motivate, influence, and lead change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with future healthcare market challenges and local regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with innovative technologies to solve marketing problems.
  • Strong learning agility and experience managing senior decision-making and governance bodies.
  • Strong leadership skills to foster dedication and resolve conflicts.

Nice to Have

  • A second degree, such as an MBA or PhD.
  • Regional or Global experience, including living or working in another country or working with international teams.

  • Annual base pay ranging from $180,875 to $271,312 USD, with overtime pay for qualifying hours.
