The role involves supporting enterprise growth by deploying and supporting Caterpillar's Google Marketing Platform, leveraging data, analytics, and digital marketing technologies to create value for various business units, industry groups, dealers, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply technical and business knowledge while consulting with industry & segment business partners, site owners, dealers, suppliers and other teams.
  • Responsible for deployment coordination processes and requirements gathering related to Caterpillar's Google Marketing Platform - Google Analytics Suite capabilities.
  • Interact extensively with digital team members, product owners, data owners and analytics teams to understand capabilities, integration points, and development status, and provide business and integration requirements.
  • Create, implement, and maintain processes including intake with business partners and handoffs with architecture, engineering and development teams.
  • Evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement process and governance solutions.
  • Document information from meetings with business partners and stakeholders, producing notes, reports, and high-level requirements for review.
  • Gather business requirements, perform requirement analysis, and create Epics, Features, and User stories for engineering teams.
  • Initiate digital projects and activities to identify linkages and synergies across business units, industries, and dealers.
  • Drive collaboration, coordination, training, communication, and alignment among related areas and partners.
  • Monitor deliverables for deadlines and completeness, conduct audits, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Conduct meetings, create communications and training, and present findings and deliverables.
  • Assist business partners in identifying issues and coordinate efforts to provide solutions with architecture, engineering, and development teams.
  • Support future-focused assessment of global and industry impact and help provide strategic direction.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of values and practices that prioritize customer needs and satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing processes, techniques, and platforms.
  • Ability to apply effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Technical knowledge of Google Marketing Platform and digital marketing technologies including Salesforce Sales & Marketing Clouds, and Hightouch.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Azure Dev Ops.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, GCP BigQuery, Looker, and data analysis strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in eBusiness, digital marketing, analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Business analysis or related field experience.
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification.
  • Track record of leading/supporting projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across organizational levels.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and resolve conflicts.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Project/program management and change management skills.
  • Experience working with onshore/offshore teams.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar policies, standards, and organization.

Nice to Have

  • Technical knowledge of Google Marketing Platform.
  • Experience with digital marketing technologies including Google Marketing Platform, Salesforce Sales & Marketing Clouds, and Hightouch.
