Part of the Assisted Growth Strategy Team for TurboTax Commercialization, we are seeking a seasoned manager with strong strategic skills, seamless cross-functional partnerships and executive-level influence, inspiring data-driven customer empathy and a bent for speed in action and results. You will partner cross-functionally with TurboTax Sales, Marketing, Expert Network, and Customer Success leaders to develop impactful enablement programs in service of Sales-assisted revenue and retention performance to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Expert Network, Onboarding, and Customer Success leaders and teams to develop impactful sales enablement programs.
  • Manage a lead development manager to support driving acquisition, upsell, and retention goals.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive sales enablement programs in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Ensure the Sales team is well-equipped with content and information needed to engage TurboTax customers throughout the buying process.
  • Translate business outcomes into marketing requirements and efforts to sales opportunities.
  • Own business outcomes and communicate regular updates to leadership through reporting presentations.
  • Generate sales enablement collateral such as inbound and outbound playbooks, product one-pagers, pricing guidelines, campaign briefings, marketing toolkits, and lead qualification processes.
  • Develop and maintain collateral to train teams and provide essential context for customer interactions.
  • Tailor programs to support in-person Experts in local markets, including creating expert-focused playbooks with key product and marketing knowledge.
  • Collaborate with Regional Marketing and Product Marketing teams to ensure messaging and value propositions are current and adapted for local differences.
  • Develop feedback loops with Sales leads, Experts, Marketing, and other teams to gather insights and improve sales enablement collateral, including analyzing win/loss data and sales conversations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of business experience leading marketing strategy development and cross-functional execution.
  • Experience enabling traditional Sales teams, on-the-ground field sales, agents, local ambassadors, or regional business development experts.
  • Best in class marketing to field/sales enablement and messaging craft experience.
  • Experience using enablement tools like Seismic, Gong, Salesforce (or other CRM).
  • Experience working in B2B2C and/or B2C sales organizations with a global sales team across different functions and geographies.
  • Ownership of lead development and qualification processes alongside Sales leaders.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills across all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Ability to use customer and seller insights and data to develop and translate sales enablement strategies into actionable plans.
  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize multiple data sources to identify growth opportunities and develop business cases.
  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a data-driven decision-making approach.
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Experience driving opportunities in organizations with nascent sales teams to scale rapidly.

  • Marketing software experience.

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience.
  • MBA preferred.
