Part of the Assisted Growth Strategy Team for TurboTax Commercialization, this role involves developing impactful sales enablement programs, partnering cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and customer success teams, and translating customer and seller insights into strategic marketing plans to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Expert Network, Onboarding, and Customer Success leaders to develop impactful sales enablement programs.
  • Manage a lead development manager to support driving acquisition, upsell, and retention goals.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive sales enablement programs to ensure the Sales team is well-equipped with necessary content and information.
  • Translate business outcomes into marketing requirements and efforts to support sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement collateral such as playbooks, product one-pagers, pricing guidelines, campaign briefings, and marketing toolkits.
  • Tailor programs to support in-person Experts in local markets, including creating expert-focused playbooks for community-building efforts.
  • Collaborate with Regional Marketing and Product Marketing teams to ensure messaging and value propositions are current and regionally appropriate.
  • Develop feedback loops with Sales, Experts, Marketing, and other teams to gather insights and improve sales enablement collateral, including analyzing win/loss data and sales conversations.
  • Communicate regular updates on business outcomes to leadership through reporting presentations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of business experience leading marketing strategy development and cross-functional execution.
  • Experience enabling traditional Sales teams, on-the-ground field sales, agents, local ambassadors, or regional business development teams.
  • Best in class marketing to field/sales enablement and messaging craft experience.
  • Experience using enablement tools like Seismic, Gong, Salesforce (or other CRM).
  • Experience working in B2B2C and/or B2C sales organizations with a global sales team across different functions and regions.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills across all levels up to executive leadership.
  • Ability to synthesize inputs from multiple data sources to identify growth opportunities and develop business cases.
  • Excellent storytelling, content creation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and make strategic choices balancing short and long-term outcomes.
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Experience driving opportunities in organizations with nascent sales teams to scale rapidly.

  • Marketing software experience.
  • Experience with lead development and qualification processes.
  • Experience in translating customer and seller insights into marketing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
