About the Role

The Head of Campaign Creative at BNY is a leadership role within the Marketing & Communications team, responsible for overseeing the creative strategy and execution of global marketing campaigns. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary creative team, maintaining the brand's voice and tone, and collaborating on innovative marketing initiatives to ensure high-quality, on-brand results. This hybrid position is based in NYC and offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading global financial services company committed to innovation, inclusion, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creative strategy and execution of global marketing campaigns across all channels with strategic rigor, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and on-brand results.
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary creative team, including copywriters and art directors, to produce cohesive and efficient work ensuring alignment on design, voice, tone, and brand standards.
  • Serve as the trusted lead on the brand's voice and tone, maintaining and owning the written and spoken word for the brand, and providing thought partnership to business partners to drive creative direction and improvement.
  • Collaborate with strategic planners to develop and communicate creative strategies with a clear vision and direction to internal and external partners.
  • Lead ideation sessions and design reviews to bring creative strategies to life.
  • Identify opportunities and lead efforts to incorporate emerging marketing innovations, such as GenAI, into the creative workflow to keep the brand future-forward and operating at peak performance.
  • Drive opportunities independently across multiple complex projects with strategic implications for the brand and company.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of agency or brand side experience working with or at global brands.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree.
  • Experience leading creative for financial brands or products/services and extensive knowledge of the financial industry is required.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, influence outcomes, and operate in highly matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to initiate and drive opportunities independently across multiple complex projects in a fast-changing environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with emerging marketing technologies such as GenAI.

Qualifications

  • Formal educational background including a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
