About the Role

Vokal is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Digital Value Creation to join our fast-growing agency/advisory. This role is pivotal in partnering with private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as mid-market brands, to drive measurable digital value creation that accelerates growth, optimizes operations, and maximizes enterprise value. You will collaborate directly with private equity partners, portfolio company executives, and mid-market brand leaders to identify digital upside opportunities, execute strategic roadmaps, and build high-impact partner relationships. This role is deeply involved in new business development, positioning Vokal as the leading digital value creation partner in the private equity ecosystem while ensuring our current portfolio strategies are optimized for value realization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and implement comprehensive digital value creation strategies for private equity portfolios and mid-market brands, aligned to revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, and risk reduction.
  • Serve as the primary digital operating partner for PE firms, translating investment theses into actionable digital roadmaps and measurable value creation initiatives.
  • Champion digital audits, scorecards, and opportunity mapping for portfolio companies to identify quick wins, mid-term growth levers, and long-term strategic opportunities.
  • Build and manage relationships with key technology partners (e.g., Segment) to enhance digital enablement capabilities and drive integrated value for clients.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and business development teams to identify, scope, and close new engagements, positioning Vokal as the go-to digital value creation partner.
  • Contribute to Vokal's market presence by leading insights, POV development, and go-to-market positioning on digital value creation within private equity and mid-market contexts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of digital marketing and strategy experience, ideally with a blend of agency, consulting, or operating experience.
  • Experience partnering with private equity firms or working within PE-backed environments.
  • Proven track record of driving digital strategy and execution resulting in revenue growth and operational improvements.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, customer experience optimization, and martech ecosystems.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with executive stakeholders and technology partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience building and/or managing high-performing teams.
  • High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
