Job Description

About the Role

A marketing leadership role working on the growing Egypt exhibition business. We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic marketing leader with brand experience, digital excellence and the ability to coach teams to deliver multiple event marketing campaigns. The individual needs to be analytical and data orientated but with the ability to see the bigger picture, identify trends and drive change. The candidate should have broad marketing experience including digital marketing, branding, partnerships and team leadership and be able to drive delivery across a number of events and/or other event and digital products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful delivery of marketing campaigns for exhibitions, conferences, awards, and digital products in line with agreed KPI's.
  • Conceive and deliver a 3-year strategic plan for a portfolio of products and revisit each year.
  • Train and develop your team through internal and external training, creating development plans for top talent or underperformers.
  • Set targets and break them down into smaller objectives for the team.
  • Ensure content products are considered and involved at every step of the portfolio journey.
  • Act as brand custodian of the Egypt business.
  • Be a key part of government outreach.
  • Work with teams on delivery of marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives.
  • Set product marketing targets (e.g., Visitor targets, MQL targets) in line with business goals.
  • Act as a change management ambassador, demonstrating a positive attitude towards challenges and change.
  • Lead a diverse team of marketers of all levels.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across leadership, finance, and other departments to secure your vision.
  • Guide and keep marketers on track, from data collection to audience engagement.
  • Provide performance feedback and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee budgets, ensuring effective marketing spend and ROI.
  • Champion the adoption and optimization of marketing technology solutions.
  • Develop team skills and competencies with clear development roadmaps.
  • Drive long-term strategic thinking and adapt working practices accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Event Directors to deliver Product Strategies for presentation to SLT.
  • Lead initiatives to share best practices across Head of Marketing roles in the business.
  • Work with MEA Marketing Analyst to build standardized reporting and monitor campaign performance.
  • Manage senior stakeholder communication through regular reports and insights.
  • Analyze trends and use data insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure data governance and management policies are followed.
  • Monitor operational plans, deadlines, and budgets, ensuring adherence and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for digital marketing, social media, and PR campaigns.
  • Guide the development of customer journeys, target segmentation, and messaging.
  • Oversee the creation and approval of marketing collateral, signage, and channel communications.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading marketing teams and delivering multi-channel campaigns.
  • Broad marketing experience including digital marketing, branding, and partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans.
  • Experience managing budgets and ensuring ROI on marketing spend.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Ability to guide and motivate diverse teams of marketers.
  • Experience with marketing technology solutions and campaign analytics tools.
  • Understanding of content creation, media planning, and campaign execution.
