About the Role

Pet Supplies Plus is looking for an Integrated Marketing Strategist to join our Marketing team. This role will support the development of our omnichannel marketing strategy, executing online, offline, and in-store experiences that strengthen our relationships with Neighbors, Team Members, Pet Partners, and Franchisees. Acting as a strategic partner, this role will facilitate cross-functional collaboration between marketing, merchandising, store operations, and external partners to ensure alignment and impactful execution. Reporting to the Senior Integrated Marketing Manager, this position will focus on supporting stores through cross-channel marketing strategies and campaign creation, while also assisting with channel management and day-to-day marketing operations. This role is ideal for someone with retail, startup, franchise, or agency experience, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about customer engagement and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and optimizing marketing campaigns including email, SMS, and automation-driven customer journeys, to improve customer retention and loyalty.
  • Developing, executing, and managing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, direct mail, in-store signage, and paid media to drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Ensuring seamless coordination between online and offline customer touchpoints, creating a cohesive customer journey.
  • Leading cross-functional collaboration with creative, merchandising, store operations, external agencies, and franchisees to align marketing initiatives.
  • Working closely with franchisees and field teams to develop localized marketing campaigns that drive traffic and sales.
  • Developing data-driven customer segmentation and personalization strategies, leveraging insights to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Maintaining meticulous project documentation, streamlining processes, and implementing operational efficiencies to enhance campaign execution.
  • Identifying challenges and implementing strategic solutions to keep campaigns on track and achieve desired results.
  • Demonstrating agility in managing multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, taking ownership and accountability for delivering results.
  • Applying customer service and customer success principles to marketing strategies, ensuring an engaging and seamless experience for Neighbors.
  • Staying informed on retail trends, franchise marketing strategies, and omnichannel best practices, bringing innovative campaign ideas to the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing campaign creation and execution, with a background in retail, franchise, startup, agency, or multi-location businesses being a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of omnichannel marketing, customer journey strategies, and campaign execution.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing cross-channel marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, email/SMS marketing, and automation.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • The ability to analyze performance data, draw insights, and make data-driven marketing recommendations.
  • Experience collaborating with merchandising, store operations, and external agencies to align marketing efforts.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working cross-functionally with internal teams and franchisees.
